Go shoppingUpstairs at Landrace
A bistro above a bakery, what’s not to love? Landrace makes Bath’s best cinnamon buns and a whole host of other artisan pastries from speciality grains milled at Tom Calver’s Westcombe Dairy near Bruton. Founder Andrew Lowkes joined forces with husband-and-wife team Rob and Jules Sachdev to open the restaurant above.
Said eatery, Upstairs, serves up seasonal small plates and cocktails in an intimate setting. Thanks to the relationships head chef Rob has developed with local producers, the fresh ingredients truly elevate the simple sharing dishes. The moreish cheddar curd fritters are a menu staple and not to be missed.
Upstairs is one of our favourite dinner spots in Bath and the perfect location for a romantic meal.
