About our striped 8in x 10in wavy mounts

Our wavy scalloped mounts are made from white-core mountboard and are manufactured and cut in the UK. The fun carnival stripes are then carefully painted by hand on our Seashell (off-white) mounts.

Our Rosehip (deep, rich red) stripes use Little Greene’s Baked Cherry, while our Bark (chocolate brown) stripes use Little Greene’s Scullery, and our Hellebore stripes (dusky pink) are created using the same brand’s Blush paint.

Please note that as a hand finished product, variations may occur.

Our 8in x 10in mounts are designed to fit perfectly in standard 8in x 10in frames. The wavy design means that the safe area for your artwork is 12cm x 17cm, but your overall design must be at least 15cm x 20cm to ensure all edges are hidden by the mount. Art or photographs with a centred design work well with our wavy scalloped mounts.

At Slow Living LDN, it’s important to us that our products are sent to you in eco-conscious packaging. Our striped wavy scalloped mounts are packaged with recycled greyboard to keep them safe during shipping and sealed within compostable PLA bags which are made from vegetable starch. All our stickers and tape are compostable and recyclable. Our UK-made postage boxes contain at least 70% recycled content and are both recyclable and biodegradable.
