Preserve the seasons with our large wooden flower presses. Featuring our signature wavy edges and finished with brass hardware, these flower presses are designed to be on show. Inspired by the organic shapes of nature, the smooth curved edges reveal the layers of oak-topped ply, which is made in the UK from European FSC and EUTR standard birch. Each flower press is then carefully cut and finished in South West England.

When designing our flower presses, we took care to consider every detail. The beautiful brass hardware is enclosed in a seed paper pouch which can be planted to grow your own wildflowers at home. The top and bottom boards each measure approximately 35.5cm x 26cm x 1.2cm and fit A4 sheets of blotting paper and card so you can create large arrangements.

Our large wooden flower press kit contains:

• 10 x A4 blotting paper sheets
• 5 x A4 sheets of recycled card
• Brass wingnuts, bolts and washers enclosed in a plantable seed paper pouch
• Two oak-topped plywood boards with wavy edges
• Flower pressing tips (you can also visit our guide on how to press flowers)

Growing your own flowers from the seed paper pouch:

1. Tear the paper pouch into small pieces and soak in water.
2. Indoors during autumn or spring, plant the soaked paper in compost and cover with 1 cm further compost.
3. Place in a sunny spot, keep well watered and wait to germinate (this may take a few weeks).
4. Once shoots have strengthened, slowly acclimatise to the outside and plant outdoors.
